How to hide a folder

Start > run / type cmd> enter

Go to cmd >> type the drive symbol in which you want to hide the folder

For example if any folder (suppose ‘D’) named “vinay”, you want to hide then following procedure will be followed –

1.       Go to Run

2.       Type    D: enter

3.       type attrib +h +s vinay   enter

The folder will hide.

When you want to enable this folder:-

The same procedure will be followed in third para (3.) you have to type       attrib   –h –s vinay   enter

The folder will enable.

NOTE:- above method not applicable with C Drive folders
