Indian Air Force invites Applications from Unmarried Male Candidates for selection test in June 2014 to join as Airmen in group ‘X’ (Technical) Trades. Interested Candidates may send their applications in prescribed application format on or before 17th February, 2014. Other details such as age, qualifications, how to apply etc is mentioned below .

Name of post : Group ‘X’ Technical Trades
Age Limit : Candidates age should be between 17 years to 20 years i.e born between 01 February 1994 and 30 November 1997.
Educational Qualification : Candidates must check this qualification before going to apply :
a. Passed Intermediate / 10+2 / Equivalent Examination, withMathematics, Physics and English with minimum 50% marks in aggregate and 50% marks in English.
or
b. Three years Diploma Course in Engineering from a Government recognized polytechnic Institute with 50% marks in overall aggregate , and 50% marks in English in Diploma Course or in Intermediate / Matriculation, if English is not a subject in Diploma Course.
Selection Process : Selection will be done on the basis of written test followed by a Physical Fitness Test (PFT) to be conducted by IAF. On the basis of marks obtained in written test and PFT, Shortlisted candidates will be called for Interview.
