DPC : PS Gr. B and JTS Gr.A
It is learnt that both the DPCs have already been convened. 141 officers are selected in DPC for the promotion to the cadre of PS Gr. B for the vacancy year 2014. DPC has cleared 40 Officers for promotion to the cadre of JTS Gr. A for the year 2013-14. The result of both the DPCs is said to be delayed for want of consideration of request applications of the officers for repatriation to their parent circle. Result is expected within a couple of days.
DPC for promotion to the cadre of STS Gr. A
It is learnt that information of one officer from Andhra Pradesh Circle is required to hold the DPC for promotion to the cadre of STS Gr. A in DOP.

It is learnt that information of following 39 officers are not received from circles at Directorate for holding of DPC for promotion to PS Group ‘B’ cadre for the year 2014-15 .

$J&K Circle sent the information but not ACR in respect of Shri Nazir Ahmed with remarks that officer was retired compulsorily vide Memo dated 04.07.07 till reinstated vide memo dated 23.02.2012, hence ACR not written. It is pertinent that the name of the officer was considered by last DPC on earlier year ACRs (before 2007) and recommendation was kept in “Sealed Cover”.
Name of some officers with Retired is also included above, as Circle has not confirmed the same. The entry has been made according to their date of birth available in Directorate and Circle has not mentioned anything w.r.t. officers mentioned above with remarks “Retd.”
Circle Secretaries and CHQ officer bearers of the concerned circles are once again requested to ensure the submission of requisite information of officers working in their circle within 2 days and inform to GS by SMS. If submission of information to Directorate is delayed, then automatically DPC would be delayed for which CS and CHQ Office Bearer of the concerned circle will be responsible. GS has made his all out efforts to get the information time to time from Directorate.

Directorate vide memo No. 9-25/2014-SPG dated 25/9/2014 (CLICK HERE TO SEE MEMO) has already directed to each circle to submit the attested copies of ACRs/APARs of officers (who are in the ZoC) for holding of DPC for the promotion to the cadre of PS Gr. B through the officers personally on the following date/s.

It is therefore once again requested to all Circle Secretaries and CHQ Office Bearers to contact each and every officer who is in the zone of promotion (list is available on blog) over phone/mobile and ask him/her to confirm the up-dation of their ACRs/APARs for the period from 2006-2007 to 2012-13 and send the attested copies thereof along with other requisite documents to their regional/circle administration immediately to enable each circle to submit all required documents on due date to Directorate for holding of DPC for the promotion to the cadre of PS Gr. B for the year 2014-15. This will facilitate timely holding of DPC otherwise it will be again delayed for which CHQ will not be responsible. All Circle Secretaries and CHQ office bearers should give progress report time to time to GS.
DPC for promotion to the cadre of JTS Gr. A for the year 2013-14
DPC for promotion to the cadre of JTS Gr. A for the year 2013-14 is delayed for want of copies of relevant documents viz. punishment orders, chargesheets, documents relating to criminal cases etc. in respect of the following officers. All Circle Secretaries, CHQ office bearers and members are requested to keep the liasion with their circle administration and ensure submission of requisite information to Directorate at the earliest. This DPC is already delayed and therefore there is need of co-operation from each and every member for submission of required documents as called for by Directorate for onward submission to UPSC.
