RD Default fee issue after updating sanchay post patch 10, 10.1


In Most of the office, When we collect more than one default months (example Dec 2014 ,Jan 2015,Feb 2015),it will come as 1+1+1 default Rupees instead of 1+2+3 for  100 /-  Rs denomination.. The screen shot is attached herewith for your reference..



Solution :

Download the attached postrd1.pbd  & paste it  in OT folder by overwriting.

Patch 10 For Sanchay Post 7.5 : Ssa

Prerequisite 
1.  Ensure that Backup of all databases relating to Sanchay Post are taken and stored in external storage devices. 
2.  Ensure  that  Sanchay Post Version 7.5  and all the patches related to it (in the same order given below) have been installed in the system.
  1. Service Pack 1 dated 29_May_2014
  2. Patch 5 dated 07_Nov_2014
  3. Patch 6 dated 23_Sep_2014
  4. Patch 8 dated 20_Nov_2014
  5. Patch 8.1 dated 03_Dec_2014
  6. Patch 7 dated 23_Sep_2014
If not installed please install the above patches in the same order
3.  DO NOT RUN UpgradeDB / UpgradeDB PPF RD / KVP_Tool again.  (As your POST DB is upgraded already at the time of installation of Sanchay Post 7.5/ Service Pack 1/ Patch 8 respectively)
4.  Sanchay Post Version 7.0 should not be available in the system.
Note : Patch 10  should be installed in server and all client machines. 
“SSA-Upgrade”  should  be executed only once in SERVER. It shouldn’t be run in client 
machines. .

Sanchay Post Data Entry : You Are Not Authorized To Login This Module

While Login Sanchay Post 7.5 data Entry Module it show the above error message due to Improper Upgradation. 

Solution

To overcome above issues, Upgrade properly as per SDC Guidelines. till now Sanchay Post released Patches and upgrade order

Solution

  1. Check Drive Space(BPRO Database configured drive). it should be minimum 1GB
  2. Check Log file of BPRO, clear Log of BPRO using below method.
  • Download Latest DB Analyzer:
  • Goto DB Utilities > Clear Log 
  • Click each database of Sanchay Post then click Update to Clear Log File.

  • Download DB tools from PoTools.
  • Enter SQL Information.
  • Clear all database Log for better performance

DUPLICATE SIGNATURE REMOVER (SANCHAY POST)

Delete Duplicate Signature Tool For Sanchay Post

  1. Unzip Signature.zip and copy a_signature.pbd , patch_signature.exe to /SP5/Comm folder.
  2. Execute patch_signature.exe.
  3. After selecting the scheme , this will list duplicate accounts in 1st datawindow, if exists.
  4. The selected account number along with seqno will be displayed in 2nd datawindow.
  5. By Clicking on this acctno, signature is displayed.
  6. When Delete Signature button is clicked a confirmation message is displayed and then the selected account is deleted from Sign database.

TOOL FOR KVP OLD STOCK CLEARANCE

Tool For Clearance Of KVP Old Stock

 

Precautions:

  • Backup of all databases should be taken and preserved in external storage device.
  • This tool should be run only once in SERVER MACHINE ONLY.
  • Returning back of old KVP certificate stock to HO/ PSD / CSD physically should be ensured at your end before running the above said patch. 
  • By running the patch itself, it is confirmed that all the existing stock in Sanchay Post are verified and approved by the Postmaster concerned.

Procedure:

The upgrade database of KVP has to be run on server machines only. This should not be run from client machines.
  1. Download the attached file from SDC, place in any folder and extract the same.
  2. Click sp_kvp_stock_update_tool.exe file.  A window similar to below will appear.  Enter server name and click UpgradeDB button.
  3. Upon successful upgrade a screen similar to below will appear.
  4. Your upgrade database is completed.  Click OK and Exit button.
  5. If any failures are encountered a screen similar to below will appear.
  6. In case of error contact SDC before restoring or trying to upgrade again.

SANCHAY POST SO TO HO FILE CREATION ERROR : NTDVM HAS ENCOUNTERED


Windows 2003 : NTVDM Has Encountered A Hard Error

In Windows 2003 Server machine while do Sanchay Post day End or SO to HO File generation it may show the error message " NTVDM has encountered a hard error" and File also does not created in SO_to_HO Folder.

Solution

  • Download and Apply HotFix to Overcome NTDVM has encountered a hard error.

If hotfix does not Support follow the below steps:

  • Deleting the Symantec path in  the following reg key in reg edit
HKLM\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\VirtualDeviceDrivers\VDD
